KSS KR-A55MC Stepping Motor Driver

The KSS KR-A55MC is a 5-phase micro-step stepping motor driver designed to deliver low vibration and smooth motion for precision positioning applications. Unlike basic full-step or half-step drivers, the micro-step drive method divides each motor step into smaller increments, reducing mechanical vibration and improving positioning smoothness, particularly at low speeds.

It supports a wide range of micro-step interpolation settings from 1/1 to 1/250 across 16 selectable channels, enabling fine resolution control and stable operation tailored to specific application requirements. The driver operates from a DC 24V supply within an operating range of DC 20 to 35V, with a maximum current of 3A and a driving current range of 0.4 to 1.4A per phase, shipped with a default setting of 0.75A per phase. Additional functions include pulse input switching and automatic current down to reduce motor heating during standstill periods.
