THK LM Shafts and LM Shaft End Support

The THK LM Shafts are precision linear shafts designed for use with THK Linear Bushings. They provide the hardened raceway surface needed for smooth linear motion. THK offers shafts in materials such as SUJ2, THK5SP and SUS440C equivalent, with hardness up to 58 to 64 HRC for SUJ2 and THK5SP shafts.

The LM Shaft End Support Model SK is a lightweight aluminum support that secures the end of an LM shaft without machining the shaft ends. This makes installation simpler. THK also offers Model SF as an LM shaft option.

Standard LM Shafts are available in different shaft diameters and lengths. Precision-grade shafts with g5 or h5 diameter tolerances are also available.
