THK SDAN-V and SDAN-VX Series High-Speed Compact Caged Ball Screw
The THK SDAN-V and SDAN-VX Series High-Speed Compact Ball Screws are designed for high-speed, space-conscious precision positioning applications. Their optimized circulation components pick up balls tangentially to the direction of motion, supporting smooth operation and stable performance during high-speed operation.
The SDAN-V Caged Ball type uses preload and achieves a DN value of 160,000, while the SDAN-VX Full-Ball type reaches a DN value of 130,000. Both are available with compact nut configurations and multiple shaft and lead options.
The series supports permissible rotational speeds up to 5,000 min⁻¹ for SDAN-V and up to 4,060 min⁻¹ for SDAN-VX on the applicable models. Its preload arrangement provides high rigidity, while the compact structure makes the series suitable for equipment where both speed and installation space are important.
