KSS Miniature Ball Screw with Ball Spline (BSSP)

The KSS Miniature Ball Screw with Ball Spline (BSSP) features a compact and lightweight design and is available as a customised product tailored to specific application requirements. Ball spline grooves are machined directly on the ball screw shaft, enabling both linear and rotational motion within a single integrated shaft rather than requiring separate components for each motion type.

An air suction function is also available through the hollow bore, allowing the BSSP to be used directly as a vacuum pick-up tool in pick and place applications. This combination of integrated linear, rotary, and suction functionality makes the BSSP well suited for compact automation tasks such as semiconductor handling and small component placement where multiple motion axes need to be consolidated into a single slim shaft.
