THK DSP Ball Spline with Integrated Ball Screw
The THK DSP Ball Spline with Integrated Ball Screw combines a ball spline and ball screw in one compact unit. The ball spline provides linear guidance, while the ball screw provides the driving force. This design transmits high thrust with smooth motion.
The DSP has a compact structure that reduces the overall size of the machine. It also uses fewer components than a conventional ball screw and linear guide arrangement. This can reduce assembly work and the number of machined parts.
The THK DSP is available in DSP30, DSP40, DSP50, DSP60 and DSP80 models. Ball spline shaft diameters range from 30 to 80 mm, while ball screw shaft diameters range from 16 to 50 mm. Stroke options include 50 to 250 mm, depending on the model.
