THK SBKN Series Precision Caged Ball Screw
The THK SBKN Series takes THK’s caged ball screw design and adds a double-nut preload method, combining two ball screw nuts preloaded with spacers to remove backlash. This gives it improved load capacity compared to the standard SBK Series, while still keeping the low noise, low torque fluctuation, and long maintenance-free operation that come from using a ball cage.
It carries a DN value of 160,000 and is available in screw shaft diameters from 36mm to 55mm, making it a strong option where SBK’s load capacity isn’t quite enough.
