THK SBK Series Precision Caged Ball Screw

The THK SBK Series uses a ball cage inside the ball screw nut, which stops the balls from colliding and rubbing against each other and improves grease retention. This gives it low noise, low torque fluctuation, and long-term maintenance-free operation, along with strong high-speed performance thanks to its ideal ball recirculation structure. The SBK Series specifically uses an offset preloading method, shifting two rows of grooves in the nut, which lets it achieve a compact structure while still removing backlash.

It carries a DN value of up to 160,000 and is available in screw shaft diameters from 15mm to 55mm, with a large lead for fast feed applications.
