THK NS-V Low-Inertia Ball Screw/Spline

THK NS-V is a low-inertia ball screw/spline that combines ball screw and ball spline grooves on one shaft. It supports rotational and linear motion in one compact unit. The NS-V is designed for precision positioning with a large lead and no preload.

The rotary nut design helps reduce inertia and supports fast motion. Its compact structure is suitable for applications that require quick starts and stops. THK highlights the NS-V for Z-axis applications in horizontal articulated robots.

THK NS-V is available with 16, 20 and 25 mm screw shaft diameters. The series has a DN value of 100,000, with models NS1616V, NS2020V and NS2525V.
