THK EPB-V Series ISO 3408 Compliant Ball Screw (Offset Preload)

The THK EPB-V Series is an ISO 3408 compliant ball screw using an offset preloaded nut, where balls roll in the raceway cut between the screw shaft and nut, travel along a deflector’s groove to the adjacent raceway, and circulate back to the loaded area for continuous rolling motion. Thanks to this internal deflector-based circulation system, the nut’s outer diameter comes in at just 70 to 80% of a conventional double nut, with an overall nut length only 60 to 80% as long as a return-pipe nut, giving you a genuinely compact ball screw.

It’s available in screw shaft diameters from 16mm to 63mm, making it a solid choice where you need offset preload accuracy without the bulk of a traditional double nut design.
