THK EBB-V Series ISO 3408 Compliant Ball Screw (Oversized-Ball Preload)

The THK EBB-V Series is an ISO 3408 compliant ball screw where balls roll in the raceway cut between the screw shaft and nut, travel along a deflector’s groove to the adjacent raceway, and circulate back to the loaded area for smooth, continuous rolling motion. It’s available as an oversized-ball preload type for removing backlash, or as a non-preloaded type where that’s not needed. Thanks to its internal deflector-based circulation system, the nut stays notably compact, with an outer diameter of just 70 to 80% of a conventional double nut and an overall length only 60 to 80% as long as a return-pipe nut.

It’s available in screw shaft diameters from 16mm to 80mm, with a permissible rotational speed of up to 5,000 min⁻¹, making it a solid choice where you want either preloaded accuracy or simple non-preloaded operation in a compact package.
