THK DIR Precision Rotary Ball Screw

THK DIR is a precision rotary ball screw with a nut-rotating design. The ball screw nut is integrated with a support bearing for a compact and accurate assembly. Its preload also helps achieve precise positioning without backlash.

The DIR uses a deflector-type ball circulation system and offset preload. The support bearing uses two rows of angular-contact bearings with a 45° contact angle. This design provides smooth rotation, good rigidity and stable positioning.

THK DIR has a DN value of 70,000 and is available with screw shaft diameters from 16 to 40 mm. The series includes different standard leads and is suited to applications that require compact rotary-nut ball screw mechanisms.
