THK BSM High-Speed Full-Ball Precision Ball Screw

THK BSM is a full-ball precision ball screw designed for high-speed machine tool applications. Its newly developed ball circulation structure achieves a DN value of 170,000. This allows higher-speed operation while maintaining precision performance.

The BSM uses a unique groove and double-groove structure to improve load capacity. Its design also provides high rigidity with a compact nut diameter. THK offers the BSM-B slim nut type for applications where saving installation space is important.

THK BSM is available with screw shaft diameters of 40, 45, 50 and 63 mm. Leads range from 16 to 30 mm, with maximum feed speeds up to 121 m/min for the BSM4030-6. The BSM series uses preload with offset preload and is available with thin film or canvas seals.
