THK BLR Large-Lead Rotary Ball Screw

THK BLR is a large-lead rotary ball screw with an integrated ball screw nut and support bearing. The rotating nut design provides smooth linear motion with a compact structure. THK offers BLR in both precision and rolled ball screw types.

The BLR uses an angular support bearing with a 60° contact angle and a large number of balls. This provides high axial rigidity while keeping the rotary mechanism compact. The end-cap design also supports low-noise operation during high-speed rotation.

THK BLR is available in screw shaft diameters from 16 to 50 mm. The series includes BLR 1616-3.6, BLR 2020-3.6, BLR 2525-3.6, BLR 3232-3.6, BLR 3636-3.6, BLR 4040-3.6 and BLR 5050-3.6. The rotary nut design can be mounted directly to the housing with bolts.
