THK Ball Screw Peripheral Lock Nut (Model RN)
The THK Model RN Lock Nut is used to fasten the screw shaft and bearing of a ball screw assembly with high accuracy. It comes with a loosening prevention mechanism made up of a hexagonal socket-head setscrew and a set piece, which keeps the lock nut firmly in place under vibration or repeated use.
It’s available in sizes from M4 to M40, with a narrow screw pitch, and is commonly used alongside THK’s support units to secure the fixed-side bearing of a ball screw assembly.
