SMAC CBL Series Electric Cylinders

The SMAC CBL Series electric cylinders are designed to replace pneumatic cylinders with better performance and greater control. Their standard cylinder shape and multiple mounting points mean they can be retrofitted into most existing machines without major changes.

Each cylinder is fully programmable in force, position, velocity, and acceleration. Stroke profiles can be adjusted in seconds through a simple interface with no recalibration needed. Cycle rates exceed 2000 per minute, cycle time variance is as low as one millisecond, and service life goes well beyond 100 million cycles. Built-in data feedback removes the need for external sensors. SMAC’s Soft-Land feature lets the cylinder touch a surface gently before applying force, protecting delicate parts. Optional IP65 and IP67 protection is available for food, beverage, packaging, and pharmaceutical applications.
