KSS Si-Servo Hybrid Stepping Motor

The KSS Si-Servo Hybrid Stepping Motor features a built-in Si-MoBo controller and can be supplied as a standalone motor for use with external linear actuators. This integrated controller approach combines stepping motor construction with servo-style closed-loop control, reducing the number of separate components needed to build a complete motion system.

Si-Servo is a new stepping servo system developed to deliver high-performance servo control at a low cost, making it suitable for a wide range of automation and motion control applications. This positions the Si-Servo as a practical middle ground between standard open-loop stepping motors and more expensive full servo motor systems, for applications where servo-level performance is desired without the higher cost typically associated with conventional AC servo motors.
