THK TNU Controller Series
The THK TNU Network Unit is a fieldbus compatible controller accessory built to support multi axis control while cutting down on system wiring. By connecting THK servo driver controllers, both TLC and THC, to a PLC through a fieldbus network, the TNU reduces wiring quite a bit compared to standard I/O connections. You only need one dedicated communication cable to link the network unit with each driver controller.
When you pair a single TNU with branch units, you can connect and control up to 16 axes of mixed TLC and THC controllers within one system. This setup makes it easier to scale your system, simplifies installation, and keeps maintenance more manageable in multi axis automation setups. The TNU works well for applications that need centralized control, tidy wiring layouts, and room to expand your THK electric actuator system over time.
