THK TNU Network Unit
The THK TNU Network Unit is a fieldbus-compatible unit for connecting multiple THK servo driver controllers in a multi-axis system. It reduces wiring compared with standard I/O connections. A single dedicated cable connects the TNU to each driver controller.
The TNU can connect up to 16 axes of mixed TLC and THC servo driver controllers when used with the TJU branch unit. This makes it suitable for multi-axis automation systems that need simpler wiring and easier system expansion.
The TNU-CC uses CC-Link Ver. 1.1 for fieldbus communication and communicates with the THK controllers through an RS-485 network. It supports a maximum trunk length of 20 m and requires a 24 V DC power supply.
