LM Shafts / LM Shafts End Support
Linear Bushings are linear motion guides used in combination with cylindrical LM shafts. Balls arranged inside the bushing make point contact with the shaft, enabling smooth, low-friction linear motion with high accuracy.
The bushing nut is manufactured from high-carbon chromium bearing steel, with both inner and outer surfaces ground and heat-treated for durability and precision. Linear bushings are commonly used in medical equipment, packaging machinery, and lightweight office automation equipment where vibration and shock are minimal.
Linear bushings are not suitable for applications involving rotational loads, as they are designed exclusively for linear motion.
LM shafts are precision-ground cylindrical shafts used in combination with linear bushings. They provide the raceway surface for ball contact, enabling smooth and accurate linear motion. Various materials and surface treatments are available depending on load and environment.
LM shaft end supports are used to secure and support LM shafts, ensuring correct alignment and structural stability. They simplify installation and help maintain consistent linear motion performance.
