THK JPF Series Slim Nut Full-Ball Type Rolled Ball Screw

THK’s rolled ball screws use a screw shaft that’s rolled to high accuracy and then specially surface ground, rather than a fully thread-ground shaft, which keeps the cost down while the ball raceways of the nut are still thread-ground for smooth, low clearance motion. The JPF Series takes this a step further with a compact, slim nut design that achieves zero backlash through a constant-pressure preload method. This works by shifting the phase of the nut, using the central part of the nut itself as a spring structure, which lets it absorb pitch error and keep motion smooth.

It carries a DN value of 50,000 and is available in screw shaft diameters from 14mm to 40mm.
