Miki Pulley Electromagnetic-actuated Micro Clutches and Brakes
Miki Pulley Electromagnetic-actuated Micro Clutches and Brakes are built for compact precision equipment where you need to avoid variations in torque and response, like office machines, communications equipment, and automobile devices. Along with the 102 clutch and 112 brake models, which share the same basic design, there’s also the CYT clutch model, which has a long history of being customized to fit specific customer needs.
The 102 clutch models come in two stator types. One is flange mounted to use space efficiently, and the other is bearing mounted for easy setup right on the shaft. When paired with armature assemblies in three different mounting shapes, you get six total configurations to match your setup. The 112 brake models share this same basic design and also offer three armature assembly options. Both handle torque from 0.4 to 2.4 N·m, work in temperatures from negative 10°C to 40°C, and have zero backlash. These are commonly used in financial terminals, weighing and packing machines, printing machines, bookbinding machines, and optical equipment.
