Sanyo Denki SANMOTION S Spindle Motor

The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION S Spindle Motor is an AC servo system designed for high-speed spindle rotation and high torque at low speeds. It is particularly suited to machine tools requiring high-precision synchronised tapping with the feed shaft, helping improve machining accuracy and equipment productivity.

SANMOTION S combines AC spindle motors with dedicated servo amplifiers, with available models featuring incremental encoders, Analog/Pulse control, and EtherCAT interfaces. Current spindle motor models include base speeds of 1,500 or 3,000 min⁻¹, with continuous rated outputs of 3.2 kW and 4.5 kW.
