Yamaha Robonity LBFS Motor-less Low-Profile Actuator

The Yamaha Robonity LBFS is a motor-less single-axis actuator with a low-profile design. Its compact structure helps reduce the overall height of automation equipment while providing precise linear movement.

The LBFS Series includes LBFS03, LBFS04, LBFS05, LBFS06, LBFS07, LBFS08 and LBFS10 models. Depending on the model, stroke lengths range from 50 mm to 1,250 mm, with speeds of up to 1,800 mm/s and horizontal payloads of up to 115 kg.

The actuator uses a rolled C7 ball screw and provides ±0.005 mm positioning repeatability. It is compatible with a range of servo and stepping motors, allowing the motor and driver to be selected separately. The LBFS also supports cleanroom applications with cleanliness equivalent to ISO Class 4 when used with the specified suction setup.
