Yamaha Robonity LGBS Motor-less Belt Drive Actuator

The Yamaha Robonity LGBS is a motor-less single-axis actuator with a timing belt drive, designed for high-speed and long-distance transport. Its belt drive allows fast movement over long strokes.

The LGBS Series includes LGBS10 and LGBS14 models. Depending on the motor and belt configuration, maximum speed reaches up to 3,750 mm/s, with horizontal payloads of up to 60 kg. Stroke lengths range from 150 mm to 4,000 mm.

The LGBS provides ±0.04 mm repeatability and supports different motor outputs and belt lead options. It also offers cleanliness equivalent to ISO Class 3 (ISO 14644-1) when used with the required suction air fitting and operated at 1,000 mm/s or below.
