Yamaha Robonity LGFS Motor-less Long-Stroke Actuator

The Yamaha Robonity LGFS is a motor-less single-axis actuator designed for long-stroke linear movement. It uses a rolled C7 ball screw to provide smooth and precise movement over extended distances. The series includes LGFS14 and LGFS17 models, with standard and longer-stroke versions available. Depending on the model and motor configuration, speeds reach up to 2,400 mm/s, while horizontal payloads reach up to 200 kg. Stroke lengths extend up to 3,000 mm.

The LGFS provides ±0.01 mm positioning repeatability and supports different ball screw leads and motor options. It can also achieve cleanliness equivalent to ISO Class 3 (ISO 14644-1) when used with a suction air joint and operated at the specified speed.
