Fortrend Wafer Sorter

The Fortrend Wafer Sorter is an automated system for wafer transfer, sorting and merging. It supports wafer sizes from 3 to 12 inches and works with SEMI-standard FOUP, FOSB, SMIF POD and cassette carriers.

The Wafer Sorter is available in 2-loadport, 3-loadport and 4-loadport configurations. Different layouts and handling options are available to suit various wafer processing requirements.

Customized configurations are available for Taiko wafers, OM loading, packaging and dual-sided multi-station sorting. The system can also integrate modules such as wafer transfer robots, pre-aligners, OCR and reversing mechanisms.

The Fortrend Wafer Sorter features a modular design with cleanliness up to ISO Class 1. Depending on the configuration, options include wafer mapping, OCR, N2 purge and safety curtains for controlled wafer handling.
