Fortrend Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR)
The Fortrend Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) is designed for automated material handling in semiconductor manufacturing. It supports 200 mm to 300 mm wafer applications and uses laser SLAM navigation for flexible, trackless movement.
The AMR features a compact design with a humanoid-style arm and positioning mechanism for automated handling. It supports custom map navigation, obstacle avoidance and multiple safety protection functions. Up to three vehicles can be loaded at a time, with optional 8-inch to 12-inch standard vehicles.
The AMR has a maximum speed of 0.9 m/s and a robot payload of up to 20 kg. It uses a 48 V, 30 Ah ternary lithium battery with a typical running time of 6 to 8 hours.
Communication options include Ethernet, USB and 5G Wi-Fi, with HSMS/SECS II communication between the AMR server and MCS/MES. The system also supports E84 and automated or manual charging.
