THK ES and EC Economy Series Electric Actuators

The THK Economy Series ES and EC are electric actuators built to bring together compactness, reliability, and a lower price point. The ES comes in a slider type, while the EC comes as a cylinder type, giving you two mounting styles depending on how you want to integrate it into your equipment.

By building an LM Guide right into the rectilinear guide, the ES stays compact and dependable without adding extra bulk. Since it uses LM Guides, it also needs fewer components overall, which helps keep the cost reasonable compared to more complex actuator designs.

Both series use the SRS LM Guide with a Caged Ball design, along with a QZ lubricator that keeps the ball screw properly lubricated. Together, these features support long term, maintenance free operation, so you won’t need to service it often. The service life of the LM Guide and ball screw can also be calculated based on your specific usage conditions, which helps you plan ahead for maintenance and replacement.
