THK KSF Compact Electric Actuator
The THK KSF Compact Electric Actuator is a compact LM Guide actuator designed for long strokes and fast operation. Its large-diameter ball screw allows a maximum stroke of 1,500 mm while keeping the actuator width compact.
The KSF supports high speeds and rapid acceleration and deceleration. THK states that it can reduce cycle time by 0.54 seconds on a 500 mm stroke. This can improve production efficiency by up to 40% over 100 cycles.
The KSF also provides a long service life of up to 20,000 km. Its thin and lightweight housing gives more freedom for equipment layouts. In addition, the U-shaped outer rail provides high rigidity against torsion, bending and deflection. The linear guide uses a circular arc groove for smooth movement and long-term precision.
