THK PHS Series Female Thread Type Rod End

The THK PHS Series is a rod end with a female threaded shank, designed for self-aligning applications that need high rigidity and long service life. Inside the joint, a copper alloy layer with high conformability sits between the chromate treated steel holder and the spherical inner ring. Only the spherical area’s outer surface is hard chrome plated, giving the rod end strong wear resistance and corrosion resistance even under repeated load.

A grease nipple is built into the holder, so the sliding surface can be re-lubricated during maintenance to keep performance consistent over time. The PHS Series covers a static radial load rating (Ca) ranging from 5,590 N to 92,200 N, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial linkage and pivot applications, from light machinery to heavy duty equipment.

Available in multiple bore sizes, the PHS rod end is commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, linkages, and connecting rod assemblies where self-aligning motion and female thread mounting are required.
