Koganei KAE Series Cool Separators

The Koganei KAE Series Cool Separators are compact, maintenance-free units that supply dry compressed air anywhere along your piping system. They use Koganei’s own pressure differential dehumidification technology to separate moisture from compressed air without needing electricity, refrigerant, or desiccant materials.

Inside the unit, controlled pressure differentials and adiabatic expansion lower the air temperature, which causes moisture to condense. That moisture is then removed through a combination of centrifugal force, collision separation, and gravity. The design stays stable even when flow rate or pressure changes, making it a reliable choice for end-of-line air treatment. Collected condensate drains away automatically through a built-in float-type auto drain, so there is nothing to maintain on a regular basis.
