THK SVS Series Four-Way Equal Load Type Caged Ball LM Guide
The THK SVS Series is a super-heavy load, four-way equal load type caged ball LM Guide. Along with the SVR Series, it offers the highest rigidity and load capacity in THK’s Caged Ball LM Guide lineup.
Its raceway uses a deep circular-arc groove close to the ball diameter. As load increases, the ball contact area grows too, giving strong load capacity along with better damping. An improved protector and optional side scraper also help keep out contaminants, making it well suited for tough environments like machine tool applications.
Since the SVS Series is a four-way equal load type, it can be mounted in any orientation, unlike the radial-only SVR Series. This gives it more flexibility for certain machine tool designs while still delivering the same super-heavy load performance.
The SVS Series comes in 8 model variants, covering flanged and non-flanged types, standard and long block options, and different bolt mounting configurations. Sizes range from 25 to 65, with basic dynamic load ratings from 37 kN to 260 kN and basic static load ratings from 52.2 kN to 370 kN, depending on the model.
