The THK VRG Series Cross-Roller Guide with Cage Alignment System is a compact, finite-stroke linear guide that uses precision rollers arranged orthogonally on dedicated rails to provide high rigidity and load capacity in all directions.
Its proprietary rack-and-pinion mechanism prevents cage misalignment caused by impact, vibration and inertia, helping maintain stable motion throughout the stroke. Compared with the standard VR Series, the VRG provides 47% higher basic dynamic load rating, 65% higher basic static load rating and 35% lower radial displacement in the comparison shown in the catalogue.
The standard type uses interchangeable mounting dimensions with the VR Series, while the center rail type provides a more compact table width. Stainless steel rail versions are also available for enhanced corrosion resistance.
