THK FTW & FTW-V Series Flat Roller
The THK FTW & FTW-V Series Flat Roller uses two or more rows of rollers in a cage bent at 90°, allowing it to operate on a 90° V surface alongside an FT or FT-V flat-surface roller. The roller diameter is matched to maintain the same mounting height across the two surfaces.
Its lightweight, rigid cage minimizes roller-to-roller friction and skewing, providing a low friction coefficient of 0.001 to 0.0025. The series is suited to large machine tools, precision grinding machines and optical measuring equipment requiring guidance on both flat and V surfaces. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 59 to 394 kN, with basic static load ratings from 220 to 1,804 kN, depending on the model.
