THK RW Series Double-Row Angular Contact Roller Ring
The THK RW Series Double-Row Angular Contact Roller Ring is a highly rigid rotary bearing designed to handle loads in multiple directions while maintaining high rotational accuracy. Its double-row structure uses multiple raceways and small-diameter rollers to increase the number of rollers, achieving higher rigidity than conventional THK cross roller rings with similar dimensions. The RW Series features integrated inner and outer rings with mounting holes, allowing direct attachment to shafts and housings without additional mounting components. This simplifies installation and reduces the number of surrounding parts required.
The standard lineup includes RW228, RW297 and RW445, with inner diameters of 160, 210 and 350 mm respectively. Basic radial load ratings range from 58.4 to 214 kN, while basic static load ratings range from 158 to 647 kN.
For applications requiring particularly high rotational accuracy, the TSP accuracy grade provides a specified 2 μm wobbling accuracy in both radial and axial directions across the RW228, RW297 and RW445 models.
