THK RF Series Cross Roller Ring for Robots
The THK RF Series Cross Roller Ring for Robots is a thin, lightweight cross roller ring designed specifically for robotic applications where reducing weight and installation components is important. Its flanged design allows direct mounting to a shaft or housing without a separate presser flange, simplifying assembly and reducing installation time. The RF Series uses a crossed roller arrangement that allows a single bearing to handle radial, axial and moment loads in all directions. The open space inside the ring also provides flexibility for machine design and wiring, while the flange structure keeps the assembly compact and lightweight.
The series is available in two configurations. The straight-type inner ring covers shaft diameters from 40 to 120 mm, while the flange-type inner ring covers 20 to 95 mm. The flange-type design provides mounting holes on both inner and outer rings for even faster installation. Depending on the model, permissible moment loads range from 5.12 to 76.9 N·m, with low product weights from 0.06 kg for RF45 up to 0.42 kg for RF127F.
