THK RF Series Cross Roller Ring for Robots
The THK RF Series is a thin, lightweight cross roller ring built specifically for robots. Its flanged design lets it mount directly onto a shaft or housing without a presser flange, cutting down on mounting parts and installation time while keeping the unit light. This makes it a good match for applications such as ceiling-mounted rotating arms, where reducing weight matters.
The lineup comes in two types. The straight-type inner ring leaves open space inside the ring for wiring or design flexibility, with shaft diameters from 40mm to 120mm across models RF45 to RF127. The flange-type inner ring further shortens assembly time, with shaft diameters from 20mm to 95mm across models RF45F to RF127F. Like other cross roller rings, the RF Series can take on radial, axial, and moment loads in any direction from a single bearing.
