THK RE and REV Series Cross Roller Ring
The THK RE Series shares the same main dimensions as the RB Series, but it’s built for use in locations where the outer ring needs high rotation accuracy. Model RE uses a spacer retainer between the cross arrayed rollers, giving it a low friction coefficient and stable rotational torque over time. Model REV is the full roller version, which packs in more rollers by leaving out the retainer. This gives it higher rigidity and load capacity, making it well suited to low speed rotary operations under heavier loads, and it’s also available in an all metal specification for special environments.
Because a single bearing can take on radial, axial, and moment loads at once, this series works well in industrial robot joints, machining center rotary tables, manipulator swivel units, and precision rotary tables.
