THK RBU Series Cross Roller Ring
The THK RBU Series Cross Roller Ring is an integrated cross roller bearing designed for compact rotary mechanisms requiring stable accuracy, torque and high rigidity. Its inner and outer rings have an integrated structure rather than a split ring, allowing the bearing to be used for both inner-ring and outer-ring rotation. The RBU uses cylindrical rollers arranged orthogonally in a 90° V-shaped raceway, allowing a single bearing to support radial, axial and moment loads in all directions. The integrated structure also improves component rigidity and reduces the influence of housing accuracy and rigidity on bearing performance.
The series is dimensionally interchangeable with existing RB products, allowing it to replace an RB bearing without changing the overall equipment design. Its mounting arrangement requires no detailed adjustment, helping simplify installation and reduce assembly time. The standard lineup covers 20 to 190 mm shaft diameters, with basic dynamic radial load ratings from 3.23 to 84 kN and basic static radial load ratings from 3.10 to 143 kN, depending on the model.
