THK RB and RBV Series Cross Roller Ring
The THK RB Series is the basic form of THK’s cross roller ring, with a separable outer ring and an inner ring that’s integrated with the main body. Model RB uses a spacer retainer for a low friction coefficient and stable rotational torque, and it covers an especially wide basic dynamic load rating, from 3.23 kN up to 1,350 kN, so it spans compact bearings through to very large, heavy duty sizes. Model RBV is the full roller version, suited to low speed rotary operations under higher loads and compatible with all-metal specifications for special environments.
Because the outer ring is separable, the RB Series is used where the outer ring needs high rotation accuracy, making it a common choice in machining centers, industrial robot joints, and precision rotary tables.
