THK SBK Series Large Lead Precision Caged Ball Screw
The THK SBK Series Large Lead Precision Caged Ball Screw uses a ball cage within the nut to prevent the balls from colliding and rubbing against each other, helping achieve low noise, reduced torque fluctuation and long-term maintenance-free operation. Its optimized ball circulation structure also supports high-speed operation.
The SBK Series uses an offset preload design that shifts two rows of grooves in the nut to eliminate backlash while maintaining a compact structure. The series is available in small and medium sizes, with large leads for fast-feed applications.
The SBK Series has a DN value of up to 210,000, depending on the model, with screw shaft diameters from 15 to 55 mm and leads up to 50 mm. Selected models support permissible rotational speeds of up to 5,000 min⁻¹.
