THK HBN Series High-Load Precision Caged Ball Screw

The THK HBN Series High-Load Precision Caged Ball Screw is designed for high-load applications, providing significantly higher load capacity than conventional ball screws of the same size. Its caged-ball design keeps the balls separated to reduce ball-to-ball contact, helping achieve low noise, reduced torque fluctuation and long-term maintenance-free operation.

The HBN Series operates without preload and has a DN value of 130,000, supporting high-speed operation while maintaining high load capacity and rigidity. It is available with screw shaft diameters from 32 to 63 mm, with permissible loads up to 179.4 kN depending on the model.

The series is particularly suited to heavy-duty industrial machinery where high load capacity, reliable operation and speed are required. THK also notes that the HBN Series can achieve longer service life than conventional ball screws under high-load conditions.
