THK HBN-KP Series High-Load Precision Caged Ball Screw for Presses
The THK HBN-KP Series High-Load Precision Caged Ball Screw is designed specifically for press machines and other high-load applications. Its optimised high-load design achieves a rated load more than twice that of conventional ball screws, providing high load capacity while maintaining reliable precision motion performance.
The caged-ball design helps support long-term maintenance-free operation and high-speed performance, while the no-preload, return-pipe configuration provides a practical solution for heavy-duty machinery. The HBN-KP lineup covers screw shaft diameters from 80 to 140 mm, with models including HBN8020KP, HBN10020KP, HBN10040KP, HBN12025KP and HBN14040KP.
THK developed the HBN-P/KP range for presses to increase permissible load while allowing smaller shaft diameters and more compact machine designs compared with conventional HBN and HBN-K products.
