The THK DIR Series is a rotary-nut ball screw that integrates a simple-nut ball screw with a support bearing in one unit. Its ball screw nut handles ball recirculation using deflectors, where balls travel along the deflector’s groove into the adjacent raceway before circulating back to the loaded area, giving it smooth, continuous rolling motion.
Because the support bearing is built directly into the nut, the DIR Series cuts down on the number of separate components you need to design and assemble, making it a practical choice for rotary-nut drive applications.
