Yamaha YP-X Series 4-Axis Pick & Place Robots

The Yamaha YP-X Series 4-Axis Pick & Place Robot is designed for fast and precise part handling. The YP340X combines X, Y, Z and R axes with an RCX340 controller for coordinated movement. The YP340X uses AC servo motors with 200 W output on the X, Y and Z axes, and 60 W on the R axis. Repeatability is ±0.02 mm on X and Y, ±0.05 mm on Z, and ±0.1° on R.

Maximum speed reaches 1,500 mm/s on the X and Z axes and 1,000 mm/s on the Y and R axes. The robot has a maximum payload of 1 kg and a working range of 330 mm on X, 150 mm on Y, 100 mm on Z and ±180° on R.

The YP340X is controlled by the RCX340 and supports programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication. Standard cable length is 3.5 m, with 5 m and 10 m options available.
