Yamaha YP-X Series 2-Axis Pick & Place Robots

The Yamaha YP-X Series 2-Axis Pick & Place Robots are designed for fast and precise part handling. The series includes the YP220BX and YP320X models, with X and Z axes for coordinated movement. The YP220BX uses 200 W AC servo motors on both axes, while the YP320X uses 200 W motors on the X and Z axes. Maximum speeds reach up to 1,500 mm/s, depending on the model and axis.

Both models support a maximum payload of 3 kg. The YP220BX provides ±0.05 mm repeatability, while the YP320X provides ±0.02 mm on the X axis and ±0.05 mm on the Z axis.

The robots are controlled by the Yamaha RCX320 and support programming, I/O point tracing, remote commands and RS-232C communication. Standard robot cable length is 3.5 m, with 5 m and 10 m options available.
