Yamaha XY-X Series Cartesian Robots

The Yamaha XY-X Series is a range of Cartesian robots designed for fast and precise automated movement. The series uses 2 to 6 axes arranged at right angles and offers different configurations for various machine layouts and handling requirements.

The range includes PXYx, FXYx, FXYBx, SXYx, SXYBx, MXYx, NXY, NXY-W, HXYx and HXYLx models. Depending on the model, the robots are available with 2, 3, 4 or 6 axes and maximum payloads from 4.5 kg to 40 kg. Different arm configurations are available, including arm, gantry, moving arm, pole and XZ types. The series also supports different cable arrangements, including cable carrier and whipover types.

The XY-X Series offers a wide range of stroke lengths and speeds. Depending on the model, X-axis strokes extend up to 3,050 mm, while maximum speeds reach up to 1,875 mm/s. The robots can be configured for applications such as assembly, handling, packaging, machine tending and insertion.
