THK Spherical Plain Bearing (Model SB / SA1)

THK’s Spherical Plain Bearing comes in two models, SB and SA1, both designed as self-aligning plain bearings built for heavy loads. Both the inner and outer rings are made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel, hardened and ground for strength. They’re treated with a phosphate coating for strong resistance to corrosion and wear, and seized with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for smooth, reliable operation.

These bearings can handle large radial loads along with thrust loads in both directions. They also hold up well against impact loads, which makes them a strong fit for low speed, heavy load rocking components, such as cylinder clevises, hinges on construction and civil engineering machinery, or truck suspensions.
