THK BL & BL-A Link Ball

The THK BL & BL-A Link Ball is a compact link ball designed for applications requiring radial load support. The holder is connected perpendicularly to the shank, which incorporates a highly accurate bearing steel ball and specially welded male thread. The spherical area provides smooth motion with minimal clearance.

A grease pocket is formed above and below the spherical area, providing high lubricity and wear resistance. The Link Ball also comes with a protective boot containing grease to help prevent muddy water from entering the spherical area.

The BL-A model uses a high-strength A-1 aluminum alloy holder for significant weight reduction compared with the standard BL model. BL-A is available in BL4A and BL5A sizes, while the BL series covers sizes from BL4 to BL16. The applied static load rating ranges from 4,510 to 36,400 N, depending on the model.
