Sanyo Denki SANMOTION PB (Closed Loop Stepping System)

The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION PB Closed Loop Stepping System combines the ease of use of a stepping motor with the feedback and reliability of a servo system. An encoder mounted on the stepping motor enables closed-loop control during operation, helping prevent step-out and maintain accurate positioning even when the load increases.

The SANMOTION PB lineup includes AC and DC input driver/motor configurations, with options for RS-485 + Parallel I/O, pulse train, multi-input, multi-axis, and EtherCAT interfaces. Depending on the configuration, the system supports command resolutions ranging from 50 to 1,500,000 P/R and motor sizes from 28 mm to 86 mm square.

Designed for low vibration, low heat generation, stable stopping, and efficient operation, SANMOTION PB is suitable for applications such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, analytical and testing equipment, monitoring cameras, and searchlights.
