NPM Motor Drivers
Nippon Pulse Motor (NPM) Motor Drivers provide drive and control solutions for NPM stepping motors in different system configurations. The lineup includes standard stepping motor drivers, Motionnet-compatible drivers and EtherCAT-compatible drivers.
The AD Series includes 2-phase stepping motor drivers with bipolar or uni-polar constant-current drive, as well as uni-polar constant-voltage models. The range supports different motor current requirements and micro-stepping options, depending on the model.
The Motionnet-compatible drivers integrate the control and driver functions for direct motor control through NPM’s Motionnet serial communication system. The range includes 2-phase and 5-phase models, with 1-axis and 4-axis configurations available.
The EC-AD Series provides EtherCAT-compatible 2-phase stepping motor drivers in 1-axis and 4-axis configurations. They support the CiA402 drive profile, PP and homing modes, with DC synchronisation from 250 μs.
