Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S500

The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION C S500 Motion Controller is a high-performance controller designed for advanced machine and robot motion control. It can control up to 64 motor axes with communication cycles down to 1 ms, while supporting multiple robot configurations including Cartesian, SCARA, palletizing, parallel link, and 6-/7-axis articulated robots.

The S500 integrates motion and robot control into a single development environment and supports open networks including EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA, helping simplify system development and connectivity. Available CPU modules include SMC505, SMC507, and SMC520, with expandable I/O, interface, encoder, and bus link modules.
